So last night we were all eating corn on the cob using the standard two pronged corn holders (or “handles” as my son calls them) when the unexpected happened. I must have inserted the holder incorrectly and was exerting too much pressure because it sprung from it’s position in the end of the cobb and into the flesh of my cheek! All I can say is i’m glad it wasn’t my eye! After-the-fact Brin and I couldn’t stop laughing… What are the chances?

When Corn Handles Go Bad

Yea, so I decided to clean out my wallet this morning and had this much “trash” concealed within it’s dark murky caverns. The oldest piece dated back circa October 2006 (USPS registered mail reciept).

I’ve decided to update my domain name from dan.thebyronsplace.com to simply danbyron.com. I just wanted to simplify the domain and drop the subdomain. Those who have subscribed to this blog via rss shouldn’t have to change anything seeing as I’m using a feedburner url.
