Vince just posted this saying this would be our new favorite video. For the moment I would have to agree (until the next dose of viral goodness makes it’s way down the pipe).

MUTEMATH fans probably already know about the upcoming September 2008 release of the new album… Just saw these studio vids and can’t wait!
Follow their progress in the studio on YouTube!
Somehow Adam Watts slipped by the radars but I’m glad that Vince posted this yesterday. I agree with his assessment that plenty of good Worship music has been produced the last few years but that hasn’t been the case with generic “christian / positive” genre. Watch this video and you’ll agree this guy is talented. Also, drummers take note of the drum solo towards the end, amazing.
Now granted I’m not saying that there is no good music coming out these days, I’m just saying there doesn’t seem to be as much lately. I’ll post an entry with some of my current favorites soon. Who are your current favorites?

Are you going to be picking up the new Third Day album in July? Looks like they will be mixing it up a little this time around. If you pre-order the album now you can stream it until the CD arrives.
This video made the apple blog rounds a couple days ago and the tune has been stuck in my head ever since. Is it just me or is this a really infectious melody? Yea, the thought that went into video is pretty impressive too.
I’m guessing a lot of you probably haven’t seen this yet. David Crowder Band performing “Everything Glorious” at the GMA’s last week.
Whether your a part of a church band or not this is funny. This is basically the cymbal version of “more cowbell”.
We held church vocalist auditions for the first time last fall and it makes me thankful that nothing like this happened. Thanks to Chris from Canada for the heads up on the video.
Brin and I went to Albany’s Palace Theater last night to catch all these guys in one place. What a night!
The night started with a newer band named “Revive”. Originally from Australia these guys moved over to tour with Third Day and look quite promising. They got things started with some rock infused praise and worship. I look forward to getting their album.
Then DecembeRadio took the stage. I’ve seen their album covers at numerous retail stores and online but for some reason never sampled the content? Maybe a testament to a having an album cover that grabs you?? Well let me say this… After last night I won’t be passing them over again. What a band! A souther rock band that knows how to work the crowd and put on a show!
I was really excted to see Sanctus Real after hearing them for years but never making their way to our corner of the country. One thing I can say about last night is man they all can sing! Usually you get a couple bands that are a little “off” but last night was not one of those nights. Man can Matt sing.. These guys were one of my favorite bands and last night bumped them a little higher in my book.
Once again, Third Day never dissapoints. Hard to believe they’ve been around for 16 years! They played some material from their upcoming July release which sounds really promising. Oh might I say that Mark Lee’s hollowbody PRS guitar had me captivated most of their set (or as many songs as he used it on). I just stood their mouth agape at the versatility. I have GOT to get me one of those!

Just downloaded these two albums on Amazon. Friend of mine told me about this guy yesterday, stopped by his myspace page and couldn’t stop listening to the clips… Great praise and worship material! Very “crowderesque”.
