This is sweet! Though I don’t know how it would fair on the choppy Hudson River with a strong current. Video commentary is not in English but you’ll get the drift.
For those of you who didn’t see this on Deadly Viper get ready…
Everyone Is A Photographer [Canon EOS 40D]

As the price of digital SLR’s gradually comes down it seems as if everyone is a photographer these days. Yea I guess you could lump me into that group but fortunately enough I’m not naive enough to think I’m any good… yet. I do however have a love for the art and hope to learn the skill as time progresses.
So what “gear” do we have to get started? I say we because my wife has a similar desire to learn and I figured this is a hobby/skill that we both can grow in together. We have a Canon EOS 40D with the EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lense and the Speedlite 580EX II Flash. We’ve had this setup for a couple months now and love it. All I can say is that a camera of this caliber takes some really amazing pictures even when using “ignorant” (auto) mode.
I’ll post some photos on here as time goes and we learn the ropes of shooting manual (for those “real” photographers out there to comment on.)
