Wow.

I knew technology was growing at an exponential rate, but seeing this is amazing and scary at the same time. Technology is growing at such a fast pace will our job as we know it exist in 10 or even 5 years?

very interesting but i agree with you, its a little scary what the future holds with all these new technology that springs up new ideas unimaginable to us right now

That is a cool video; some incredible statistics.

Hmm, technology is amazing at how fast it grows, but a little disappointing as well. My buddy and I were talking about this fact last week.

We can now go to Best Buy and pick up 1 TB of hard drive space that is smaller than a book yet we car makers are high-fiving each other if they can get a car to get slightly over 30 MPG's. I cannot get my head around that, but figure it has to do with money and who wants to support what growth.

    See ya.

Good point… And it isfrustrating when you compare the tech market to the auto market. I think the technology is there but like you said it's all about support at this point. If someone came along with a car that ran on water tomorrow it would put God knows how many people out of a job within the auto industry not to mention the oil market. Whatever happens will be incrementally just like it has happened with hard drives. Even a couple years ago a TB drive wasn't economical but now they're commonplace. Soon enough we'll all be driving around in electric cars and saying “remember when we drove cars that ran on gasoline!”

Too true, too true. It was encouraging yesterday to read that the Ford CEO talked about their new huge push for electric cars over the next couple of years that should really change the landscape of new vehicles. Fingers (and toes) crossed. Hehe.
