I think it is brilliant because it is like one of those dumb songs/commercials that mysteriously get stuck in your head no matter how bad you dislike them. It makes itself noticed therefore not forgotten. My roommates and I are always blaming the "supernatural being-that is WhiteGold" whenever something comes up missing that "no one" seemed to have taken or for the messes that "no one" made. We simply say "WhiteGold did it". MY one roommate claims that "WhiteGold" does it on purpose knowing that we will blame eachother. I totally dig the white gold gig!
